St Sophia's is a beautiful Greek orthodox church in Notting Hill. On a bright day the light pours in through the high windows illuminating the splendid interior. I was very happy to be asked to photograph a christening here. The ceremony followed tradition in a way that has been practiced over many hundreds of years. I felt as if I was photographing history.
